Medical University of Plovdiv

Estalished in 1945, Plovdiv Medical University  is one of the best universities in Bulgaria, just one reason why it’s popular among students all over the World.  

​The University offers degrees in Medicine and Dentistry , both courses are GMC and GDC approved respectively.  This means there’ll be no need of additional assessments like PLAB once students have returned to the UK. 

​The University has over 3500 students and over 500 highly qualified professors and assistants guaranteeing that the highest levels of knowledge will be passed onto the students.

​The University has various facilities and uses modern technology to teach.  

Like with other Universities in Bulgaria, The duration of the Medical course is 6 years. It involves training in preclinical and clinical disciplines, as well as a one-year clinical rotation.
